OUTSTANDING!! My husband & I were so fortunate to have Gerry as our guide! He was so knowledgable! He entertained us with endless fascinating facts and stories. We learned so much from him about subjects that we hadn’t even HEARD OF! We are actually going to do further research on some of the things that Gerry told us about because they were so shocking and previously unknown to us. He took us to extra stops because he wanted us to see a very important landmark and he was kind enough to spend extra time with us too. He actually went out of his way and dropped us off at our next tourist activity spot- oh AND told us about a great dinner spot! We couldn’t be happier! Gerry is the absolute best!

First time in Belfast from Canada. Our experience was amazing!!! 10/10 would recommend. Our driver’s name was Brendan and he was soooo amazing. One of the coolest experiences. Brendan was so knowledgeable in the history of the Conflicts as he was a 6 year old boy living through the Troubles so we were able to hear stories from someone who experienced it first hand. The tour with Brendan was a real pleasure and the hour and a half went by too quickly.
Brendan brought the history pages alive sharing not only the experiences of his community but his own personal childhood and family experiences which are all wrapped up in the norths history of the troubles.
The taxi tour gives an unique insight into the day to day lives of the residents from both sides of the peace wall and how it was and is now.
We were transported in the comfort of a black taxi to the Murals, Peace wall, Bombay road, Clonard monastery to name but a few of the landmarks.
We were 2 adults with 2 under 18 and were all able to take away a better understanding of the north's history.
Brendan was a real gentleman and I would highly recommend him to be your tour guide when next visiting Belfast

Brendan was 5 stars of a tour guide. I felt submerged in the late 1960s and 80s when Ireland was at war with their own people. To be honest It made me feel really sad to see that such a beautiful country and people came from such a divided background, yet alone Diamonds are made out of immense pressure and rock.
